The Alliance has set the ambitious goal of designing a winning communications strategy to help change public opinion on LGBTI topics in Bulgaria. Our plan is to work together and build on our extensive communications track record, proactively reach out of our activist “bubble” and seek the expertise and advice of renowned professionals in various fields (advertising, PR, sociology, psychology, journalism, politics and business) in a newly-created Think Tank, and engage a number of public “influencers”, and work closely with IE to help shape our communications strategy.

Project objectives and activities:
- – Conducting national poll in order to determine the general perceptions of LGBTI issues in Bulgaria, as well as extensive qualitative research to explore the movable middle’s attitudes.
- – The data will then be utilised by the Think Tank to help create a roadmap / communication strategy for the remaining duration of the Project.
- – Design a comprehensive communications strategy to help change the public opinion of the remaining 60% in a more LGBTI-accepting direction, with less polarization. With that in mind, and in close collaboration with the Think Tank, we will craft an impactful communications strategy to help change public opinion on LGBTI in Bulgaria, by reaching out of our own “bubble” as activists.
