The project aims to promote the inclusion of LGBTI sport communities through the development of new pedagogical tools and competences in the field of Education through Sport (ETS).
The project will generate e-learning and practical tools for organisations and professionals working with young people, in particular those involved in sport as coaches and PE teachers. The project will also develop local strategic partnerships in LGBTI and ETS by selecting 15 local stakeholders (schools, local authorities, sports associations).
Following a pre-training of trainers meeting, project trainers will engage 60 recruited coaches and PE teachers with 3 capacity building sessions to impart key competencies on LGBTI issues in sport and make them capable of delivering ETS exercises to their audience (students, athletes, practitioners).
The results of these actions will lead to the development of e-learning content in 7 different languages, structured for operators who train sports coaches and PE teachers, and for educators who work directly in the field. This content will be organised in an open access MOOC and in 7 open resources for the EPALE platform.
